Tierra cristal

Tierra Cristal is more than a property, it is a living community space built with intention, love, and a deep respect for nature and human connection.

Created in the jungle of the Mexican Caribbean, every part of the land was designed to support a slower, more conscious way of living. Sustainability, simplicity, creativity, and community are at the heart of everything here. From the self-sustainable systems to the shared spaces, the project was built with the intention of creating an environment where people can reconnect to themselves, to nature, and to one another.

Over the years, the land has naturally attracted people who share similar values: respect for the Earth, openness, creativity, mindfulness, authenticity, and a desire for meaningful connection. Artists, musicians, healers, travelers, teachers, and seekers from around the world have gathered here to share ideas, create beauty, and live in community.

The intention behind Tierra Cristal has never been luxury in the conventional sense, but rather the richness that comes from presence, shared experiences, simplicity, and genuine human connection.

It is a space where life is lived closer to nature, where community is valued, and where people are invited to slow down enough to remember what truly matters.

LA  CASA  DE  CRISTAL

La Casa de Cristal is a self-sustainable home hidden in the jungle of the Mexican Caribbean, built 7 years ago with deep love, intention, and devotion.

More than just a house, it is a living community space a place where people from all over the world gather to reconnect with themselves, with nature, and with each other. Surrounded by the sounds of the jungle and the simplicity of natural living, La Casa de Cristal was created as a sanctuary for creativity, healing, art, movement, and human connection.

The house features three private rooms, one dorm with six beds, four bathrooms, a large communal kitchen, and a spacious living room, making it the perfect setting for retreats, gatherings, workshops, and shared experiences.

Over the years, the space has hosted retreats, ceremonies, shared meals, music, workshops, and countless moments of transformation and beauty. Every corner of the house carries the energy of the people who have passed through it, contributing their stories, laughter, art, and presence.

Built in harmony with nature, La Casa de Cristal reflects a slower and more conscious way of living  one rooted in community, sustainability, authenticity, and the remembrance of what truly matters.

LA LOBA

La Loba is our cozy jungle palapa, a space designed to feel like resting in the womb of the Mother. Soft, grounding, and deeply nourishing, it invites you to slow down, retreat inward, and reconnect with yourself in simplicity and peace.

Like the main house, La Loba is fully self-sustainable and built in harmony with nature, including its own dry compost toilet system. Every detail of the space was created with intention from its organic shapes and natural textures to its calming beige tones that blend gently into the surrounding jungle.

La Loba features one bathroom, a king-size bed, an individual bed, and its own private kitchen, creating the perfect balance between comfort, simplicity, and nature-based living.

It is a place for rest, creativity, reflection, and inspiration a small sanctuary where time softens, the nervous system exhales, and beauty exists in the quiet details.

matters.

Calli TonatiuH

Calli Tonatiuh is the youngest space on the land, a small community refuge born through transformation and intention.

What was once the room holding the solar energy system was lovingly reimagined into a cozy tiny house, perfectly designed for one person. Though compact in size, the space carries a quiet warmth and simplicity that makes it feel deeply comforting and intimate.

Surrounded by the jungle, Calli Tonatiuh offers a peaceful retreat for solitude, rest, creativity, and reflection. It is a space for those seeking stillness, inspiration, and a deeper connection to the rhythms of nature.

Built with the same care and conscious vision as the rest of the land, this little sanctuary reflects the beauty of simplicity proving that even the smallest spaces can hold immense presence and soul.

THE SHALA & SACRED FIRE

At the heart of Tierra Cristal you will find our sacred fire and our community fire pit,

two spaces that invite connection, reflection, and togetherness beneath the stars of the jungle.

The sacred fire is a space for ceremony, prayer, intention, and quiet presence. A place where people gather in reverence, reflection, and deeper connection to themselves and the elements.

The community fire pit holds a different energy warm, open, and alive. It is where stories are shared, music is played, meals are enjoyed together, and spontaneous moments of laughter and connection unfold naturally within the community.

Next to these gathering spaces is our shala, an open sanctuary created for movement, workshops, yoga, meditation, ceremonies, music, and shared experiences. Surrounded by nature, the shala offers a grounded and peaceful atmosphere that supports both personal practice and collective gatherings.

Together, these spaces form the heart of Tierra Cristal places created to nourish community, creativity, presence, and connection to the natural rhythm of life.

OUR INTENTION

Tierra Cristal is not a place created for tourism or short-term stays.
We consciously choose to offer longer stays and retreat experiences because we believe that truly connecting with the jungle, the land, and the rhythm of nature takes time.

This space invites people to slow down, listen, and become part of the environment rather than simply passing through it.

We deeply value community, creativity, and shared contribution. Guests are always welcome to share their gifts with the space whether through art, music, movement, cooking, gardening, building, teaching, or simply bringing presence and care into the community.

We love hands-on people who enjoy co-creating, living simply, and being connected to the land.
